Based in New York City, Emily Knutsen founded her garden design practice following fifteen years in corporate life, turning a lifelong connection to gardens into a thoughtful second chapter. She grounded her intuitive design sense with formal education at the New York Botanical Garden, earning certificates in both landscape design and gardening. Emily creates beautiful, enduring outdoor spaces that feel contemporary yet deeply rooted in their surroundings—guided by trust, sustainablility, and a deep respect for the character of each site.
